The idea behind the lab

Practise with support, not shortcuts.

These tutors have been designed to act as a guided practice system: they ask, diagnose, redirect and help you improve step by step. They are not answer machines.

The goal is to make your independent practice more useful: immediate feedback, clearer revision, better exam habits and a record of the work you have actually done.

This lab is...

  • a guided practice space
  • a source of immediate support
  • a way to detect weak points
  • a tool to improve autonomy

This lab is not...

  • a homework machine
  • a shortcut
  • a replacement for effort
  • a replacement for teacher assessment

Project introduction

Watch what the Lab is for.

Pilot project notice. These tutors have been carefully designed and tested, but this is still a pilot learning experience. Use them seriously, report anything that does not work as expected, and remember that your teacher’s assessment always comes first.

How it works

Use the tutors properly

The lab works best when you use it as a practice coach: you try first, you respond to feedback, you revise, and you generate a teacher’s report at the end.

Before you begin

Follow these five steps every time you complete a practice session.

1

Choose the right tutor

Select Writing, Reading or Use of English depending on your task.

2

Enter Student ID

Use your Student ID or write Continue. Do not enter personal information.

3

Work seriously

The tutor guides you, but your answers and revisions must be yours.

4

Generate report

At the end, write: Generate a teacher’s report.

5

Share your link

Submit the conversation link so your practice process can be reviewed.

Writing Studio

Plan, draft and revise PAU essays.

Choose the tutor that matches the writing task. Each one guides your planning, drafting and revision without writing the essay for you.
